1. Mike Gravel...we hardly knew ye

Some of those were not "zingers," by definition.

Pretty dull debates, so far, if that's the best they can come up with.

2. These are really weak.

I think there were at least 10 zingers in the last debate that were better than most of these. Here are three, right off the top of my head: (From memory -- quotes might no be exact.)

Clinton: "They're not attacking me because I'm a woman; they're attacking me because I'm ahead."

Kucinich: "Because I read it."

Kucinich: "Wouldn't it be great if we had a president who got it right the first time?"

4. I agree but the CNN piece was done before the most

recent debate. Maybe they'll do a "best of" and include them.

5. How the hell is answering "yes" to a wordy question a zinger?

And the Kucinich one wasn't a zinger nor the Guiliani lightining thing. Huckabee's was a zinger, Biden's quip on 9/11 and Rudi was a zinger. The people who put this thing together are idiots.
