as usual from the Obama camp - no substance whatsoever, just another pep rally :/
it is manipulative for Obama to whip up enthusiasm from these good kids over nothing at all. "Change! Yeah! I'm BLACK!" has been the only substance i have gleaned from this candidate so far. if he wins Iowa because of this quality of vapid rock-star support, it could mean the end of my participation in Democratic politics.
these kids' support for Obama is a lot like their probable support for the Dave Mathews Band. i sound so mean saying this, but I would love to hear exactly what Obama has to say other than:
* Oprah likes me * I'm BLACK * I will missile Iran if I need to * I really wouldn't have voted for the Iraq invasion, really I wouldn't have * Students like me * Some of Edwards' ideas are good, I will copy them * But Edwards isn't playing fair, even though I outspent him in Iowa 3 to 1 * I can raise money real good * CHANGE! FIRED UP!
i'm serious - this is all that has come across to me, and apparently it is enough to warrant these kids' rock-star t-shirt support.
a far cry from Eugene McCarthy's students, indeed. please feel free to school me, obama supporters, i would love to understand your candidate better.

2. Not only do you sound mean |
|
but you also sound like an idiot as well.
""Change! Yeah! I'm BLACK!" has been the only substance i have gleaned from this candidate so far."
If thats all I 'gleaned' from any of the canidates after a year of watching them campaigning then I dont think I would feel it necessary to share my opinions.
"please feel free to school me, obama supporters"
go school yourself, first. F-tard

Here's something amazing that you may not be aware of....every presidential candidate has their own web site! wow! if you are truly interested in know about Obama's positions on the issues, there is a tab on the top of his web site that says "issues". you simply click on it and you can read exactly what he stands for! Use it if you'd like to be informed, skip it if you merely want to say silly things like ""Change! Yeah! I'm BLACK!" has been the only substance i have gleaned from this candidate so far."....
you can't really rely on other people for your political information--and I'm not defending anyone.
I'm supporting both Edwards and Obama, but I took it upon myself to be educated and informed before I made my decision.
And I'm just happy these students are involved, what a great addition to our Democratic Process! I bet they've done their homework.
