Yesterday afternoon, I uploaded this video to Youtube, which I produced with the intention of persuading Florida Power and Light to drop Wackenhut from its contract.

Last night, Wackenhut CEO Gary Sanders resigned after 25 years.

Whether these instances are connected, I will never know.

But that is one hell of a coincidence.

I can't speak for Miami, but Palm Beach County Police have been consistently fair and my encounters with them have been 99% non-combative.

3. Really clever protest and vid... But, maybe, just perhaps, you should consider

getting people who can sing... (MY EARS! MY EARS!)

On the other hand, the dissonance created by those voices does underline the point that there is something wrong at FPL/Wakenhut.

I had to edit the damn thing, so I listened to it for hours, so yes, I was thinking the same thing, but I did not organize the street theater part.

But then I started thinking that that was the beauty of it. The whole mockery and bad singing.

The private detention center guards are so angsty about not letting people videotape from public areas. If anything HE should have been in trouble for battering - yeah i said battering - your equipment like that.
