'Next week marks the end of the 109th Congress and the last Leader's 30 Something hour of the year. Night after night, Rep. Meek (D-FL) has been using a giant Rubber Stamp to illustrate the Republican Congress rubber-stamping the Administration's policies, but starting in January, thanks to Americans across the country, we will no longer have a need for it. How should we celebrate this momentous occasion? What should we do with the Rubber Stamp? Watch Rep. Meek and visit http://www.democraticleader.house.gov/30Something to make suggestions.'

1. Hold onto that....
If any of you think for one moment that the Democrats in charge are going to change anything I have some vacation land for sale in south central florida.

Think the nsa will stop spying?

Think the cia will stop torturing?

Think corporations will stop shipping jobs overseas?

Think our kids will stop dying in the ME?

Think we will have oversight other than bloviating masses of hot blather?

Think again.

7. The NSA will spy like they used to. With oversight and within the constitution.
CIA: No, but when we know about it, when we can prove they are doing it, we will stop it as best we can.
Corps: No, but we will at least debate and consider protecting U.S. jobs in a way that is beneficial to the less than ultra rich.
Dead children: Yes.

Oversight: If you think that we have had any oversight under the Bush Regime...

THINK AGAIN.

10. I love Kendrick Meek
Every time I would see him on CSpan, I just KNEW he was going to pull out that giant rubber stamp! He was great with it too! Had some great moments and made some great points with it, long before it was the popular thing to do.

The guy's got style.
