1. Gates is quite literally lying through his teeth, stiff lipped fashion |
|
...with restrained hand gestures and body language making his lies completely transparent. So why did Rep Courtney allow Gates to get away with that? :wtf:

This guy has got to have the worst position in the Pentagon (you can almost see the ball and chain he carries everywhere he goes). Too bad that it wasn't in his job description to purge all the Rumsfeld people when he "assumed command." Like him or not, he is definitely going to earn his portrait on the A Ring when the Dems sweep everyone out next January.

that it's going to make a difference come January? Please explain how? We have both our candidates supporting a protracted stay in Iraq and we're a long way from elections, a lot can happen.
To start if it's H Clinton she'll make every Repub who wasn't going to vote run to the polls and keep many Dems home. If it's Obama every racist red-neck, of which this country has many, will go to the polls to defeat him and "puff" McInsane is POTUS. Or even worst case we have another "false flag" attack and for "national security" elections are postponed indefinitely.
Either way I wouldn't be counting my chickens.

If it was anyone other than the Manchurian Candidate, I would agree with you. Remember, however, we have the soundbites for the 100 year war in Iraq and his chilling rendition of "bomb, bomb, bomb Iran". Not even GWBush will support him (he promised dad it would be Jeb in '12). Heck, if it wasn't for "I like Mike" mucking up the works, we would be seeing Jeb as Romney's VP this time around.
