BTW, everything Wright has ever said is being scoured |
|
In case you didn't see this coming, apparently in some interview in '07 he made a comment about italians "looking down their garlic noses" at galileans. This could get worse.

1. Let's get quotes in context |

Before we help spread stories that may be more lies.

3. Well, hopefully after the screw up with the previous clips, they'll play fair |

and balance the good with the bad.
We've all said stupid stuff. Gawd, I hope I'm never held accountable for some of the rediculous views I had 20 years ago.

4. People aren't bothered by Wright. |
|
According to Eugene Robinson's column, 55% say it doesn't matter v.s. 35 % who say it does--and they probably weren't going to vote for Obama anyway. I liked how Obama commented that this attention to "stupid quotes" is distracting from the important issues. Cable News wants to keep jabbering about something, and being falsely alarmed by it, but I think the American people are past it for the most part.
This morning I saw the Clintons' old pastor defending Wright, so I think we're beginning to see the end of this cycle.
