Randi Rhodes Suspended For Attacks on Clinton |
|
Rhodes compared Hillary Clinton to Lieberman, along with lesser insults such as that she is "a big f***ing whore.” Video and comment here: http://liberalvaluesblog.com/?p=3103

2. I thought that was pretty unprofessional |
|
If she were a stand-up comedian first, then she could get away with it. But it'd be like Whoopi or Joy making statements like that at this point in their career. I think they'd face some serious backlash too.
Although I can't figure out why the Clintons never go after the right wing. Not ever.

5. I thought it was pretty disgusting too. And I agree, if she were JUST a comedienne, it'd be |
|
different, but she's not.

3. I just read a post in GDP |
|
And I am so pissed off and upset. They are saying that Larry Johnson and other Hillary supporters got people to contact Air America to try to get Randi Rhodes off the air-they want her fired and replaced with Taylor Marsh. OMG-who do those people think they are? They are even trying to get Roland Martin (a pundit who supports Obama on CNN) fired too. This is too much. They are after Stephanie Miller too. If Air America hires Taylor Marsh they have lost me forever. And I listen daily to my Seattle station. Why do Hillary supporters think they can punish anybody who disagrees with them? God, I hate bullies! Sorry, I try to stay positive in GDP and didn't reply in that thread, but I would like to know what you guys in here think. I am so disheartened I could cry. I always thought Democrats were different than Republicans. I never thought that Democrats would stoop to the level of Republicans who try to get liberal talk hosts fired. Don't we still believe in free speech? I am leaving for a little while because I'm crying.

4. I've had to stop doing anything but reading the rare positive post in GDP. I post |
|
now at another forum, where that kind of RW crap isn't tolerated, and here. Its just not worth getting upset over. I don't know where these people came from or if they were ever *really* democrats, but they aren't worth the time of day and the stress of trying to figure out WTF they're doing.
In a few months, Obama will have the nomination OFFICIALLY sewn up and they'll have to either stop posting here or change their attitudes. Understand that the party insiders KNOW what Hillary supporters are doing and the tactics they're using. See the posts about Donna Brazille for example. They are doing even more harm to the Clinton campaign. And all we can do to counter their dirty tactics is to write, write, write.. there are more of us than them, so we have the numbers. Its sad, its distressing, but stay away from that which takes you away from the message we need to concentrate on: Hope, Change, Yes We Can, Not this Time.
They won't win. You can count on that.

I'm going to my District caucus in the morning-I'm a Obama delegate from my precinct-and I'm going to be have a great time. I believe that we are going to win in the end too and I'm just going to stay positive and keep that in mind. I just got a little discouraged today. Thanks for your kind thoughts. :)
