Ted Gup on Diane Rehm today
Though Diane is out. He's promoting his book "Nation of Secrets" about how secrecy is dangerous to democracy. He also just mentioned Operation Northwoods which is possibly the most "mainstream" mention of it I've ever heard. He also already has some hard words for the Democratic Congress and the extent to which they haven't been living up to their promise of transparency.

1. Ted Gup?? Hey, I Know That Guy!
I used to work for his wife ages ago at the telephone company. He was a reporter for Time, I believe, and they had dinner at my house.

Sorry, this is a vanity post. But still. Glad he is on taking this particular road. Gup is a good journalist.
