Today is the Virtual March on Washington. We need to generate hundreds of thousands of calls to the Senate to tell them to pass the resolution opposing escalation in Iraq. Congress needs to know that we're counting on them to block this plan and end the war.

The senate is getting ready to debate the resolution and is expected to vote soon. I finally got through to Feinstein's office after getting a busy signal many times. :)

The guy who answered the phone said right away, "You're against the war." I told him it's more than that. I said specifically she needs to sto the escalation. She needs to tie his hands and impeach him. She needs to get vocal. I told him I'm voting for someone else next time if she doesn't step up. Shhe voted for the war and now she better get the word out to the press about how there's no substantial evidence about Iran killing our soldiers and get PNAC and their whole plan into the press and inform the public.

Calling Kohl's office is so unsatisfying. "Thank you, I will pass your thoughts on to the Senator," without even taking my name and address, as Russ' and Tammy's offices do.
