They are making it appear that the debate didn't improve the image of the candidates. http://www.cnn.com/

When I click on vote the page that comes up is blank. If I click on results I can see them though.

4. Done, but I wouldn't assume it's being "FReeped". |
|
Reading DU tonight, it doesn't look like the debate really CHANGED anyone's opinion about any candidate.

6. I came out way more impressed with Kucinich. |

I never liked him before, I didn't know what a tough guy he could be.

8. I'm hearing that more and more about Kucinich |
|
Unfortunately the sad fact is only at the debates can he ever get his voice out there on the national stage.

He's too short and too liberal.

12. But what a great voice. |
|
He was strong and challenging on everything, basically saying we should go for the gold instead of compromise. He really has a clear perspective. Biden was whining about 50 votes like its something set in stone, Kucinich was talking about victory....getting people to change votes.

14. Oh I agree I saw him speak in DC |
|
He's a wonderful voice of humanity. He's the conscience of the country -- why is why it's so hard for him to maneuver in such a crooked political process. But he has my vote.

You know what I now realize is horrible? He came to my town, and was speaking at this little cafe. I could have talked to him personally, or at least shook his hand, but I passed because I got the image of him as this little weiner guy...Now that I've seen him speak...DOH!

But as time went on I realized: hell this guy is for real -- he actually is saying and doing all the right things!

Their greatest strength is that they don't screw around in going after what they want, they don't hum and haw, they just go at it. Kucinich seems to have this same quality. Go after what we want and let the American people decide when they've had enough. Its ludicrous that the vast majority of the American people want out of Iraq and we are still in it, period. The only reason this is possible is because one side is going after what they want, representing their base, the other is humming and hawing and trying to make other people's constituents happy. We need to back people who represent us. So yes, I will probably be backing Kucinich.

When young he even lived in a car. We are planning 'celebration' in parks in the city, i.e., we bring food and chat with people and their concerns, what DK can offer and voter registration. Viva Dennis!

didn't think it improved any of the candidates... Seriously, with a panel full of potential presidents and a couple of second sound bites, its not as informative as going to their web pages or youtube speeches, or looking at voting records and policies.

19. It is a badly written poll question |

I would suspect most read it as did the debates change your opinion. They used the word MORE POSITIVE, which means nothing, especially since I believe it probably did not particulary change peoples views positively or negatively
The question should have been did the debates change your opinion of the Democratic candidates?
Maybe they can ask some more hypothetical questions like they did in the debate?

Or is it just that the debate really didn't improve the image of the candidates?
Most people I know IRL didn't even know there was a debate last night.
