RePUKES don't really believe abortion is babykilling (laughter at "lightning strike")
Do you think RePUKES would guffaw at the RePUKE debate when there was a lightning strike during Giuliani's answer on abortion IF they were talking about legal murder of born infants?

There wouldn't be laughter surrounding the subject like there was at the RePUKE debate. RePUKES don't really believe abortion is baby killing it's just another way of getting their fascist puke claws into more citizens.

1. I would distinguish between Republican Party leaders and their base
I think the base, some of it, maybe much of it really does believe that it is murder; witness the deaths of Doctors and what not.

The party leaders and politicians play on this feeling, but don't share it, generally.

3. I think that would probably apply to most of them
and even more if they got pregnant as teenagers....

I personally think it is moral grand-standing, since most of the anti-choice people I know are pro-death penalty and pro-war and anti-charity/welfare/infrastructure.
