I'm tired of War.

The label that justifies any action, War makes everything that is profoundly, morally and ethically wrong, perfectly alright... War on Terror, War on Drugs, War on Abortion, War on Faith... So many causes, so few military solutions.

Why Wars? Is it just a label that tells us "this thing has no viable solution, so we're going to throw what we've got at it and hope that it sticks?" No, it's worse than that. It is the way to justify doing anything to address any issue, whether it is wrong or not, and we've become so anesthetized that we almost beg to hear it... War on Climate Change, War on Corporate Greed, War on Poverty, War on Corruption... But, somehow it just doesn't sound right when the cause is true.

War is the worst thing we can do to ourselves and our planet. It's the heaviest subject I know of. Can we please stop throwing it around so lightly?
