Moore and Dennis Kucinich are simpatico on just about every issue. If there is one they disagree upon...tell me what it is. Still, Mr. Moore refuses to support Dennis Kucinich...so here's my letter to him. If you also want to know the answer to why Michael Moore does not support Dennis Kucinich...I urge you to write him as well at mike@michaelmoore.com

I've been a longtime fan of yours. I think most Americans don't pay particular attention to the fine details of what is happening around them. You have a certain way to reach out to those Americans, so thank you for your service.
For as bright as you are, there is one thing I do not understand: Why you don't support Dennis Kucinich for President. He was right on the war in Iraq and still is. He is right on the drug war in America. He is right on just about everything, the list is too long...but of course, he is also right on healthcare.
You recently said this about America's healthcare system.
"What kind of sick, cruel system is this?...There's no room for the concept of profit when it comes to taking care of people when they're sick. That question, of how this will affect our bottom line, how will it affect our profit, is an immoral question, and it should never be asked. There's no room for compromise here. There's no room for the health insurance company in an emergency room. There's no room for a health insurance company in a hospital room. There's no room for them in the executive headquarters of their own companies, because I believe that we have to eliminate the private health insurance companies from our health care system. We have to get of them once and for all. It's time for them to go."
Don't remember? Well here's the video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3OmAsXmyVeQThis stance, getting rid of the insurance companies, is EXACTLY what Dennis Kucinich believes in and is running on.
However, you still fail to support him. You still fail to even acknowledge his candidacy...let me give you an example of that.
You were on ABC's Good Morning America and you said this of the Presidential Candidates:
"The segment then turned to Moore's latest film, Sicko. Moore argued that the US needs a single-payer health system like "every other Western industrialized country." However, he also said of the current presidential candidates that "these guys are bought and paid for by this industry, and that's why we're not going to have change."
http://rawstory.com/news/2007/Moore_3500_troops_could_be_alive_0613.htmlNow, I watched the video at the site and it says "top-tier candidates" in that but then who knows with all the editing smoke and mirrors. It's the media being the media but yet you didn't take the opportunity on national television to plug Dennis Kucinich's plan. You could have spoke up...but you didn't.
What I do know Mr. Moore is that Dennis Kucinich is the only one who is right on this issue and many other issues that I know are both dear to you and me.
I know you are a busy man. Family, work and probably a bit of fun every now and then take up a lot of your time...but if you could spare five minutes to respond to this email and tell me why you do not and have not yet supported Dennis Kucinich for President that'd be the tops man. The tops. It does not make sense to me.
Thank you
