How common is it to have tornadoes in January or February? |
|
and at night?
It often seems that the winds die down once the sun sets..

6. Spring Storm in February? |
|
I guess it is all relative... it is 4F in the Twin Cities with Wind Chill Index now "warm" at -10, but was -25 when Florida was hit.

3. Here in Florida, it's fairly common, as tornados go.. |
|
We don't get tornados too often, but when we do, it's usually this time of year, unless they come during a hurricane.

4. Here in Tornado Alley, (KS) they generally come in the spring |
|
and early fall. Last year we got one in March. Way too early. :scared:

Seems that January is more common than February, but neither can "beat" April, May and June.

9. When, a tornado went through my Northern VA neighborhood |
|
A couple of years ago, the universal reaction was, "What? There must be some mistake. Tornadoes don't happen here."
