thoughts on ' Redline', Foxymoron for comedy show, as it enters it's |
|
twentyfirst minute: as forced as forced can be, for starters.
showed a cartoon depicting Hillary's ideolgical backers: Kevin Spacey (escort service), a dolphin (rapist) flanking her, and some sort of kitty obsever, ala Oliphant's penguin
then showed a COPS clip of a black guy shooting/wounding cop, as he appeared to get away. didn't say what happened to the guy
more viral videos, with VERY lame faux brit narration
I see better everyday on milk and cookies/college humor/youtuve/heavy/ebaum, or from friends' contributions
now making 'fun' of mortal consequences for Iran Porn
surprised? not funny at all.
"How do we deal with a country that refuses to deal with porn? Answer: on the heels of last week's bomb, how bout a porn bomb for Iran?"
that's the level of funny
as I said Foxymoron for comedy

1. hardest thing is to decide if something is actually funny, and to be able to admit it. |
|
no problems at all with the premier of the half hour news hour, which began with Rush as POTUS and Coulter as SecState or VPOTUS...can't remember, but that was as painfully unfunny as anything imaginable
it actually became metafunny after awhile, I guess, in a PLan 9 sort of way.
now they're breaking in on the funny for some acgtual news on iraq, part of the six percent they devote daily to that distraction for their Bush hagiography
