3. How much was medicare projected to cost and how much did it actually cost?
Seems to me it has blown the US budget to smithereens.

5. If you have some factual sources to post, please do.

However, most studies show that Medicare delivers medical care efficiently for 30% less administrative costs than privatized insurers and for half the cost per patient. In the meantime familiarize yourself with this website that posts all relevant studies and articles on the subject: http://www.pnhp.org

8. I post it about three times a week for those like you who
are not familiar with it. It has the best information on the subject although it is by no means the only website addressing our health care crisis.

19. Actually, I believe it exceeds the rest of the world....or it used to.
Maybe China is catching up, but their military is cheaper than ours.

10. Oh, it's MEDICARE that's blown the US budget? Who told you that, Rush Limbaugh?
You clearly have not a clue as to what you're talking about.

11. No, that would be George Bush's addiction to war...
that has blown the US budget literally "to smithereens."

13. Is that how it "seems" to you?
Or is that the result of watching too much Faux Snooze and listening to too much Oxycontin Limpballs?

And your neighbors?

How does a caring society not care for its sick and elderly?

14. My progressive Congressman, Blumenauer, isn't on the list
He really is pretty good. If anybody else would like to help me to get Rep Blumenauer on board, there is a good chance that we could get him to do the right thing. Contact info:

The Democratic Party is a BIG TENT, but there is NO ROOM for those
who advance the agenda of THE RICH (Corporate Owners) at the EXPENSE of LABOR and the POOR.

This would help break up the cozy relationship between big pharma and the insurance companies...imho.
