The RNC just called for my boss asking him to join their small business advisory board |
|
He is about as big a liberal, former hippie, Dem as you can get. We've been giggling hysterically for the last ten minutes.
He's gonna accept, just to mess with em!!!!!!!!!!!!

2. They probably asked him |
|
because they want his money. They don't want advice, just cash.
It may be like those photo opportunities where people pay big bucks to have their picture taken with * or some other puke.

5. Yes I think they have some apparatus to monitor business filings |
|
I started a small corp in January and started getting the same calls soon after. Not robocalls either, live humans, with direct call back numbers.

7. I'm recommending this because this is where the Soprano network begins. |

The RNC behind a small business advisory board -- that's not as innocuous as it seems.
Don't let your boss be fooled. They'll put him in a "neutral" arena to watch what he does. And if he responds correctly, then he'll get recruited to join the big boys at the big table.

8. He's a very intelligent man |

Nothing the repukes can say would sway him. I expect he will mess with them a bit and then tell em off.

9. That's what I'm trying to tell you. |
|
He's just going to make their job easier for them. You'll see. He won't last long on that board, and he may even jeopardize his customer base -- unless you live in a heavily Democratic city or county.

11. It's pretty safe to say our business won't suffer at all |

We are in Southeastern, Mass. Poking fun at ignorant Republicans is our new official state past-time, sometimes we even tie them up and force them to witness a gay marriage(they eventually pass out from the horror of it all).

My employer is also not a Republican, received the same type offer, thought she could make a difference and was excited she was chosen. Turned out her money bought her a meal in D.C. with Republican representatives of Small Business Advisory board and an 8 X 10 color glossy photo of George. She was pissed as they didn't even spell her name right and she felt they had misrepresented their request, later they called and ask us for more money over the phone, still receives mail with her name spelled incorrectly even after telling them repeatedly about the mistake they couldn't get there donor/advisory board list correct. I kept the photo just to start her day right when necessary.

13. Ah yes...the ole "honor the businessman" schtick |
|
Remember when the RNC nominated this guy as "businessman of the year" (they do that for some schmuck in each state) and they wound up nominating a guy arrested for pedophilia? Can't recall which state it was but hilarious nonetheless. :D
