In all the uproar over the assertion of an exemption from
http://www.fas.org/sgp/clinton/eo12958.html">EXECUTIVE ORDER 12958, first for DICK, who has declared himself a new 4th branch of government, and then for Baby DICK 'W', who chimed in with "ME TOO!", is the matter of
WHAT THE F*K ARE THEY UP TO?
In other words, what is the motive here? What is the
way of non-compliance with an order requiring oversight of document archival methods within the executive branch?
ISOO, by the way, (if I can spell it right)
The http://www.archives.gov/isoo/">Information Security Oversight Office (ISOO) is responsible to the President for policy and oversight of the Government-wide security classification system and the National Industrial Security Program. We receive our authority from Executive Orders 12958 "Classified National Security Information" and 12829 "National Industrial Security Program" , as amended.
The Good News is that part of the motive here is an acceptance by
the cabal that the next administration is not going to be under their control. They have written off the executive branch for 2009-2012. Hurray! We really are going to win the next presidential election.
The Bad News is that one of the motivations for EXECUTIVE ORDER 12958 was to stop another Ollie North and Fawn Hall from acting to obstruct justice by destroying the documentary evidence of criminal activity within the executive branch. In other words, they are, as we speak, starting the process of cleaning up after themselves.
Were EXECUTIVE ORDER 12958's requirements for archival oversight in place, destroying documents would be massively difficult to get away with, as the independent archival agency would have a record, not of the contents of the documents, but of the existence of those documents. Every missing document would have its own little paper trail.
Funny how the motivation, the tao of non-compliance with ISOO, is not even being talked about. Even an idiot like myself, genetically afflicted with ordinary-folk stupidity, can figure this shit out.
