Freepers Tremble In Fear Over Gay Pride Promo (SF Chronicle)
Ironic, the same people who rah-rah GWBs catastrophic disasters without a second thought are s-s-scared of even the mention of the gay pride fest....

They're just so odd!

Classic freep "testimonial:"

I lived in the Bay Area for 3 years. The only good thing that happened to me was meeting my husband. We couldn’t get out fast enough!!!! I have never been in a city with soooo many angry, mean, nasty people. Those people hate anyone not from there and everyone how is from there.

I think there confused.

WHAT BULLSHIT! SF ROCKS!! WTF do so many people go back and back and back to visit (like me for instance) if everyone's so nasty? Can you imagine what assholes she and her husband must be to have (or perceived having) all this unfriendliness in SF?? I sure never experienced that!

1. Well, I met a few hostile homeless people and parking nazis...
but overall, people were as nice as could possibly be when we lived there (until last year).

The funny thing is, the Freepers HAVE Phoenix, Atlanta, Orlando and other cities locked down, not to mention most of rural America and suburbia.

Can they not let gay people have a celebration in SAN FRANCISCO without bitching about it?

"OMG - It's in the newspaper, as though it were normal people!!!"

Guess what, gay people ARE normal people!

(exasperated sigh)

but I really liked SF when I was there.

3. something like 7 or 8 million people live in the bay area --
and they only ran into nasty, mean people?

i think that's the experience they were looking for.
