If only Fitzgerald would step up..... |
|
We could begin the end of this national nightmare.
Yes, I'm well aware that prosecuters should not do what Ken Starr did (write a book on why Clinton should be impeached and present it to Congress in the form of a report. ) but as another poster headlined: Bush/Cheney or the Republic ? Fitz KNOWS Cheney is a law breaker. And he KNOWS there is much lawbreaking going in within this administration. He KNOWS the country needs HIM to do want the elected officials willfully will not. We have a serious crisis in America and if someone does not step forward-- and soon, there may not be an America. People have said Fitzgerald is a " straight arrow " and a patriot, well it's time he stepped up the the plate. He told us, people were trying to " kick sand in the umpires eyes " and he KNOWS who and why. He KNOWS no honest umpire would put the whole game at risk because the rules have had an endrun made around them. Fitzgerald, should be the object of our entreaties to rid of us this cancer. He should be the one our letters and e-mails to.
Fitzgerald could end this thing NOW !

1. I think a special prosecutor has to be assigned - |
|
he can no more pick and choose than a homicide detective.
However, should Fitz get chosen (and who else could be - he has THE background and intelligence), he'll kick ass.
But he won't be chosen. He's just put away a bunch of the Repukes favored bad boys.

If it's not related to Plame and he doesn't have the goods, his only authority is as the US Attorney based out of Chicago. Where does the US Attorney from Chicago get the right to go poking around the business of the Vice-President of the United States, digging into things classified (by the VP, disgusting as that sounds to me) in the supposed interests of the national security of the country?

4. Well I'll just say, Fitz was never an independent counsel. |
|
The wisdom or lack thereof of the independent counsel statute has been ended with its expiration years ago now.

5. I'm well aware of status |

I guess you could say I'm pining for something out of the ordinary. Like maybe Conyers or Leahy calling him in to testify about missing e-mails or ANYTHING !
