It will be back to coat hangers in allys.
I wonder if the UK or Germany would take me as a refugee so I can escape this Nazi 'like' Government. After all, they are doing the exact same shit the Nazis did.

the decision to have an abortion, therefore men have to do it for them... what do you expect..?? the precedent has been set and accepted. all 5 extremist catholic judges have legislated from the bench about a medical procedure that did not exist in favor of the control of women because they are mentally and emotionally deficient and can not make a decisions for themselves.. welcome back to the middle ages..

I had the occasion to go to a Catholic Mass this past week and encountered flagrant abuses of separation of church and state on the abortion issue. The congregation was told who to vote for and support. I don't see how churches are getting away with being tax exempt if they are allowed to continue this. But I guess with the current SCOTUS they feel completely free to go against the law. (The priest even dragged out the tired old line that Jesus could have been aborted...)
I used to have a lot more respect for the Catholic Church because of their service programs and efforts to feed the hungry. But I see that these extremist Catholics are everywhere now! I can no longer support them whatsoever.

of a friend whose mother died and I wouldn't want any repercussions for the friend if I reported this.
Besides I saw that this was such a typical part of the service that they feel completely safe. It was apparent in context that this was just another political plea among many from the pulpit, nothing unusual at all.
I think if the Catholic Church could have been challenged on this successfully, they already would have. The govt is looking the other way as they do on so many things.
I have absolutely no faith in the American judicial system, none. So I don't tend to advocate that route, at least not at this point under the current administration.

Martin Luther was right (regarding the Catholic Church)! :puke: Though he has many flaws too. The dogmatic crap that he advocated was stupid too.

The far right (and their enablers) are after a decision called Griswold v. Connecticut- NOT Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey.
And it's essentially fait accompli. All the Court is looking for is the right set of facts.

Grisold v. Connecticut is overturned though, especially if it happens before the 2008 election.
