1. Are we positive that's a quote from Dobson's book?
Edited on Sat Jun-30-07 12:55 AM by napi21
There are a lot of Dog lovers I'd love to send that to, but I'm afraid to send it until I can confirm it's really true!

People who love dogs would be outraged at his statements, and this could really destroy Dobson FINALLY!

How can I confirm it?

2. Cons hate dogs because the dogs can tell who's rotten
Most of the time hounds can tell who's rotten, or at least up to no good.
Given the nature of the beast I'd guess its smell based.
In any case, if you're a rotter like so many cons are, you won't want Rex
to point you out.

4. That is true. Dogs know.
My husband is a good person. Dogs always love him. Even shy and abused dogs go to him. When we were dating, I had a one-person dog. Even my loyal one-person dog loved him.

Cats can be like that, too. They are a bit more independent, but they know. Cats always love my husband.

I know that there are people who are allergic to pets, and people who fear dogs based on a past bad experience. Other than those, I cannot trust people who elicit fear or loathing from a cat or dog.

5. Oh I agree! I've always told everybody that if your dog doesn't
like someone, trust your dog! I've had dogs all of my adult like, and I've never seen this test fail. The best test for the new guy your dating is to ask your dogs opinion!!!

Unfortunately that doesn't confirm my question of how can I find out if the quote on that blog is true, and really a quote from Dobson's book.

6. I can't find a thing on snopes.
I have been reading that story for years, and I have never questioned it. Google was no help either, unless I am not using the right search terms.

It would be a good idea to confirm the story.
