And I agree with Randi, the American people want impeachment hearings.

Most of all, the law requires impeachment hearings. FISA violations alone certainly are "high crimes".

You know, this is what I hate about DU these days. There's always somebody out there claiming that they know more than the poster, that the poster wasn't paying attention, that they are smarter than the poster, whatever.

I'm taking office time at my job to call the attention of my fellow DUers to something important happening in the media. I don't do these posts so that somebody else can feel good because think they've made me feel stupid, or ignorant, or inattentive.

I just love the way the famous Democratic circular firing squad works even here on DU. The need of people here to prove that they're better than others obviously trumps loyalty, fellowship and tact around here. The problem is that those are important elements of teamwork, and teamwork is what creates powerful social movements and wins elections.

If you want people like me to keep calling these broadcasts to your attention, stop using these posts as opportunities to belittle us.

And before you flame me for calling you on your crap like this, keep in mind the turnover rate around here. We've lost some of our best people because they just got fed up with the hypercritical DU crazies. Remember, it was somebody posting on DU that even called Cindy Sheehan an "attention whore." I myself didn't post here for almost 4 weeks starting in late May because somebody tried to prove to me that they knew more about an illness that killed my brother than I did. A lot of people are getting sick of the constant one-upmanship around here, not just me. And they're voting with their feet.

Now, to get to the merits, you can play Randi's MP3 of today's program at the Air America website and hear for yourself that what she said is what I reported in my OP.
