Why does Fox hate "O Canada"?
Edited on Wed Jul-11-07 08:32 AM by Red Zelda
Every year at the MLB all-star game, Fox goes to commercials rather than show anybody performing the Canadian national athem. Members of the San Francisco Philharmonic did "O Canada" last night. Of course, we never saw it.

This just pisses me off every year.

4. FOX Noise needs to check the "Made in..." tags on everything
they wear and put their bums on. Not everything revolves around the US anymore, and it isn't unpatriotic to let "O, Canada" hit the airways and fiber-optic cables.

6. because they can make more money by running commercials.
I'm sure they'd skip the american national anthem too if they could get away with it. As the saying goes: He who rides a tiger cannot dismount.

8. Subscribe to NHL center ice
If not to see Sidney Crosby, then for all the Canadian national anthem versions played throughout the season. Canada really know how to do hockey right and better than we can respect anything I have seen lately, including anything religious and I'm not religious.

10. Money, Money, Money
That's two minutes to sell penis enlarging drugs or beer or promote another Faux trailer-trash special. The network paid big bucks to carry the "All-American" game by doing the "All-American" thing...make money. At home, the national anthem is usually followed by the sound of refrigerators closing and toilets flushing...none of us are watching.
