* DU Researchers: How to find Cheney's McLean, VA. tel no. in 2000?
Edited on Wed Jul-11-07 01:14 PM by npincus
The Internets are abuzz w/speculation that Cheney was a regular customer of the DC Madame back when he was Halliburton CEO and living in McLean, Virginia.. with calls to Palfrey placed to and from his residence.

(Palfry herself strongly insinuated that Cheney was a customer in the final minutes of Prissy Patriot's interview with her. Podcast: http://freepress.org/radio/theprogressiverevolution/theprogressiverevolutionjune252007.mp3)

Cheney bought the McLean house in Jan. 2000 and left Halliburton to join Chimpy's VP selection team in August 2000.

So.. we know his former neighborhood, and the time span in question would be likely between Jan. 2000 and August 2000... how the HELL can we find the horney veep's tel. number for this time frame? McLean, VA area code is 703. Any ideas?

On luxury streets in McLean such as Crest Lane, Chain Bridge Road and Ballantrae Farm Drive, one finds numerous examples of homes that appear to be significantly under-assessed relative to their “fair market value.”

For example, on Jan. 12, 2000, Vice President Richard B. Cheney bought a property for $1.35 million on Chain Bridge Road, one of the top-end streets in McLean — one of the richest parts of Fairfax County, which is one of the richest counties in the United States. The 2006 assessment is $1.045 million — or less than 80 percent of what the Cheneys paid for the home.

5. If you have a particular phone number you'd like to check, just call it and ask for him.
The people at that number would probably be used to getting calls for him. If they, say, have his new number handy, then you're probably right that it was his. Or if they complain that they've been getting calls for him (this would only be valid for the time period before the phone records were released, though). Or maybe they'd just tell you they used to get calls for him if you ask.

Like once I called someone I hadn't talked to in a long time, and he had moved but some new people had his number, and they were like "Man, FUCK YOU! Ain't no Doug here!" That tells me they've been getting a lot of calls for him.

9. The residence I found was 6613 MADISON MCLEAN DR.
It was sold in 2000 to (*****)

The only phone number I find for either Lynne or Dick Cheney is 862-5800 and I don't know what the area code is yet. Still working on that.

13. I don't think so. It's not on Lexis anyway.
I also ran the numbers through Melissadata and didn't come up with anything.

I'll keep looking.

Here's his WY address...remember he moved to Dallas, Texas in the mid to late 90's.

2920 White Pine Lane,Jackson, Wyoming 83001

Dallas, Halliburton offices
3600 Lincoln Plaza, 500 N. Akard Street, Dallas, Texas 75201-3391
214-978-2600

from his campaign donations
http://www.newsmeat.com/washington_political_donations/Dick_Cheney.php

You can see he lived on and off in Mclean ..in the 80's and early 90's

if that helps...
