If you were face to face with Bush what would you say to him? |
|
Edited on Mon Feb-05-07 06:27 PM by Homer12
Seriously, what would you say?
"I would tell him that he has disgraced and injured the Constitution, The office of the President, and the United States. I would also say tell him that the hundereds of thousands of people aroung the world hat have been killed by our military, have been murdered in his name. He and all the other collaberatores should be shipped to the hag and be locked up for life for their war crimes."
Hopefully without to much of a shakey voice, I'm sure I'd be thrown into prison for awhile and called a traitor by the RW media whores, but it would be worth every word of it.

8. Something similar, I hope |
|
I don't know if I'd actually be capable of speech in his presence, though - just thinking about the man and all he's done makes me sick, angry, and disgusted beyond belief. I do hope that if he tried to shake my hand I'd refuse and tell him he had blood on his hands...but I probably wouldn't be able to do it in actuality. Whatever. It's probably best for me and him if we never meet - mutual dislike doesn't usually make for a pleasant experience for either party.

7. I'd say, "Everything you claim to be, I really am - |
|
except President of the United States. You claim to be a Texan, but you're not. You claim to have served in the military, but not really. You claim to be a Christian, but I think your actions say otherwise. You claim to be a businessman, but I ran a business for years on my own, without my daddy or his friends to bail me out."
And so on. Something like that.

confess that I don't have the foggiest idea who he is and that I've never heard of him. No better way to kill an egotistical bastard's fragile ego than to not recognize him thereby denying him the feeling -- which he probably needs like a fish needs water -- that he's somehow special or better than everyone else.
I've seen it work and it's an amazingly marvelous tactic!

21. "You can't hide here. Try the next house." |
|
Or, more seriously:
"But if the cause be not good, the king himself hath a heavy reckoning to make, when all those legs and arms and heads, chopped off in battle, shall join together at the latter day and cry all 'We died at such a place;' some swearing, some crying for a surgeon, some upon their wives left poor behind them, some upon the debts they owe, some upon their children rawly left. I am afeard there are few die well that die in a battle; for how can they charitably dispose of any thing, when blood is their argument? Now, if these men do not die well, it will be a black matter for the king that led them to it; whom to disobey were against all proportion of subjection."

"In the TV series South Park, Cartman and his friends play the game "I'll Rochambeau you for it", by kicking the opponent in the crotch. The first one to fall over loses the game. This of course means the first person to go is usually the winner. This is a way of choosing, and it's called Rochambeau."

your condolences if the unthinkable happens to my son, now on his third tour in Iraq. Don't you even speak his name. You couldn't be bothered to show up, admit it!, for your National Guard service during Viet Nam. You were the party boy who couldn't be bothered to get your physical -- you were grounded from flying for that lapse -- and you skipped out early from your non-combat service while thousands were dying. And now you blithely joke about starting a war (on your "funny" video - "No, no WMD here!" as you look under the furniture at the White House). You lied. You lied our military into death. When Katrina swept over Louisiana, leaving death and destruction in its wake, you showed up days late with more jokes. "Yeah, I used to have a problem with "hurricanes" in New Orleans. HeHe. We're going to rebuild Trent Lott's house!" People were dying. And you sat for seven minutes in a classroom staring into space while our country was under attack. Don't speak to me. Ever.

A small group of dedicated peace marchers will be there to greet him. If allowed close enough, he will see many signs that say things like "Bring the Troops Home" and "Peace is Patriotic" and even, my favorite, "Impeach for Peace"

Texas. Even shook his hand (Ew!) and if I didn't need it I'd lob it off.
I wish I knew then what I know now.
Suffice it to say that even then, before the things I know now, my tone was somewhat adversarial.
