For those with the stomach, a Freeper thread on Vitter.
The hypocrisy is astounding. Clinton's disgusting, Vitter, oh that's old news, nothing to see.

And don't complain about freeper thread posted here. It was in the title, you could have ignored it.

Some choice comments:

The real question is, did he receive oral sex in the oval office, causing him to miss taking out OBL?

Absolutely.

I knew when this paltry Palfrey bitch decided to release the names of her “clients”, that the majority of them would be Republicans. She would, naturally, have to be a Democrat. Republican women aren’t that cheap.

Senator Vitter take a deep breath and then say “this too will pass.” It will.

I smell a Comrade Klinton floating around in all the other fecal matter called the Democrat Cesspool election committee.

Liberals are nothing.

Nothing = a turd with all the sh!t scraped off.

**That guy seems to have a fixation, eh?**

I can tell you what I'm going to do, and I'm a Louisiana voter. I'm going to vote for David Vitter's re-election in 2010. This entire mess is a recycling of old news from the Drive-By Media. Look for blowback on the Drive-Bys starting next week, particularly Gannett reporter John Hill. He's one of the ringleaders.

I won't throw the baby out with the bath water. He's a good man and works hard for us. Unless they find a dead underage boy in his bed, I'll keep voting for him every time he's up for reelection.

Although, Bush has been fucking us in the ass for over six years, so I guess anything is possible.

Bush was handed an actual written memo warning of an impending attack, and then went on vacation and we were attacked.

But Clinton got a five minute hummer and that caused him to miss capturing UBL.

Now, I have to wonder, I suppose if Bush and Pickles have sex does that mean he is neglecting his duty too? I mean, if they want to be harsh on a guy for a hummer, then I think president's shouldn't have sex at all for fear of missing out on catching a terrorist.

How weird. You know, if they want to legitimately criticize Clinton, that's cool, I've done it myself, but this stuff is just sheer hatred for the sake of sheer hatred. It's nonsensical.

18. SOP for blaming 9/11 on Clinton (or "Klintoon" in their parlance)
I've been reading this line of "reasoning" from RW stooges for years. A man who could probably dictate obscure policy papers in his sleep, somehow was "distracted" from fightin Terra on account of a BJ.

I don't think even the Freepers really believe it, but they go right on saying it.

19. I suppose it wouldn't be prudent to suggest to them
that they ought to think about the one thing they are totally committed to--what do they suppose republican women are doing while their men are off, dallying?

That is guaranteed to drive them drooling. Women are sexual beings, too. Perhaps those republican women are smarter about not getting caught or are naturally a little more discreet.

There is a fundamental qualification for becoming a republican that few democrats can muster - the ability to hold two mutually exclusive threads of being in mind at the same time and believe intensely in both.
The compartmentalized thinking that is required is beyond most democrats. We see it as hypocrisy and view hypocrisy as one of the vilest sins imaginable.

Democrats are "gifted" with an obsession for "dispassionate intellectualism," and it infuriates pukes.
Republicans are "gifted" with "compartmentalization," and we view the resulting hypocrisy with horror and disgust.

It's fascinating, like watching a snake preparing to strike, in a morbid, creepy sort of way.

26. My brother is a hard-core republican.
Although he is like most of them, and now claims he never really like Bush. Still, he's very wealthy, and very republican. But his lovely wife is even moreso. She's a FOX News junkie. She is afraid of her own shadow, because terrorists might be lurking in it. Her kids aren't allowed out of her sight because those evil liberal child molesters will snatch them. She's a mess.

But she's very pretty.

And she and my brother have an unspoken "agreement." He's got the money, so when he's on the road if gets some on the outside it's better for her because that means she doesn't have to deal with the messy bits. He gets his rocks off, and she gets the 4000 sf home and the Bimmer and the AMEX card which he pays every month. She doesn't work, yet they still have a housekeeper and nanny.

Republicans are big into symbiotic relationships, it appears.

My overwhelming reaction to your brother's and sister-in-law's lives is sadness for them.

As far as we know, we only have one life on this earth. What a sorrow to waste it collecting material things while missing out on having a truly loving, respectful, connected relationship.

When all is said and done, what do we have in life? I would hate to end my life looking around at a bunch of Pottery Barn stuff and wondering what it would have been like to have a loving relationship.

34. Me too.
We used to be pretty close, but he's a republican to the core and I finally realized that if it weren't for our shared blood, I'd never give the guy the time of day. Finally he pulled some shit related to our late father's business which is too complex and painful to get into here, and that was really the last I spoke with him. We went from getting together weekly (he's three hours away in New Hampshire...it was always me and my family who had to travel to visit him, never the other way around) to now only seeing each other at funerals and weddings. Almost ten years now since we've spoken. And I'm quite happy with that. He is as republican as they get, and obsessed with "things." To the point that he's perfectly happy supporting a trophy wife as long as they both have all their stuff.

Who am I to judge if that what's works for them? My own lifestyle isn't exactly "conventional." But I've never strayed outside my marriage in 25 years. Not once. He does with a wink-wink nudge-nudge, saying "Hey, I bought her a big house and an expensive car...I deserve a little fun, too." What one has to do with the other I'll never understand...because I'm not a shallow, self-obsessed Repubican.

There are no loving relationships, except for self love. Wives, kids, morals, humanity, does not happen in the republicans world, its either my way or screw you, I'll find someone just s shallow as I am. Trophy wives, hookers or gay sex, no big deal, after all they want it and thats all the reasoning they need for any actions they take. They even built protections and justifications into what they do without it bothering their moral views, after all its not their morals at fault or in danger, its someone elses that they deem worse. It also allows them to believe one thing and then go against their beliefs.

32. This pretty much sums up the freeper mindset
It's OK for Vitter to do what he did, because he's a conservative Republican. Clinton is automatically guilty because he's a Democrat.

That's it. That's all of it. that's the entire rationale behind all freepers. If Bush came to their house and performed the Aristocrats joke in their living room live, including raping their children with the barrel of a shotgun and cutting their arms off with a chainsaw, it would be OK, because he's Republican. But if Clinton brings about world peace, triples life expectancy and makes everyone a billionaire, any good that comes about must be bad because Clinton is a Democrat and therefore there must be something wrong with how good it is.

Freepers need to be beaten to death with ferrets. They're holding back the rest of the human race.

Because you gotta figure, in a couple of years, we can expect it to swing back to Democratic sex scandals, and when that happens, it would be a good thing to have hard evidence of how shallow and manufactured their inevitable outrage will be.

Also, it is good to have this visible; Missy Coulter makes a point of saying how Liberals seem to think hypocrisy is some great crime when it's really nothing - well, darling, there's your corruption.

If it is a Republican, then they will bend over backwards to excuse the person's behavior. It never fails.

And there is no evil liberal tinfoil conspiracy. Vitter quite literally fucked himself over and it was only a matter of time before it got out. Hell rumors of his infidelity have been floating around for years.

Normally I wouldn't care about a person's private life, but when you make your private life part of your job, don't complain, whine, or hide when you are outed as a hypocrite. Especially when you use your private life as a club to deny rights to people who believe and live differently than yourself.

If this had been a Democratic senator, all holy hell would have been raised on Free Republic if the person missed important votes and business due to his/her personal life. Vitter's missed a lot this week due to his hiding out, but lucky for him his supporters are fellow hypocrites.

Meanwhile they still blame Clinton for everything that Bush has utterly fubared even though Bill's been out of office for 6+ years. Behold the awe-inspiring power of The Mighty Clenis!

55. i keep imagining someone at freeptown banging a gavel and saying
''gentlemen, gentlemen -- oh and that broad over there -- i'm opening the session for our weekly idiots annonymous meeting --

first order of business the minutes from the last meeting: bill clinton's penis, bill clinton's dick, bill clinton's cock, -- then we moved on to bill clinton's blow job, and bill clinton's blow job{how does he get them to do that?} -- then billary is a lesbian, hillary is gay and hillary won't put out so bill play can play around.

and then last -- sen vitter -- and apparently someone suggested that really it was bill clinton's dick that went to the prostitute and not sen vitter -- a good christian man -- and this person produced a fox news frame that said this was indeed so.''
