1. And this really has to get out there RE: Chuck Hagel.... |
|
This guy is running for President, and has been shouting big time about Escalation and today turns around and votes along party lines. Hey, I give him Kudo's for his disipline, but not for what was on the floor.

3. Unless I'm mistaken - which I could very well be - this wasn't Hagel's resolution... |
|
unless they voted to filibuster more than one. This was the Warner-Levin resolution. Hagel did one with Biden and two others.
Still unbelievable that anyone claiming to be so against the war and this particular escalation would vote against any of them.
Sick.

They stand around and acknowledge that the only solution in Iraq is a political -- not military -- solution.
But they don't have the courage to vote to cut off the funds that allows the occupiers to remain in Iraq.

what really matter is a Snickers commercial. Or the exact parsing of John Edwards words. DU is a freaking alternative universe. I don't have much stomach for it these days. As some said here so succinctly, it's BROKEN. Can we say CHARADE? Wow thank GOD the Dems won the majority. That changed everything.
