As a matter of fact, friends and relatives have asked me to STOP mentioning Commander Codpiece every other sentence. I mean, mentioning Chucklenutz in all references to popular culture is almost second nature by now. No matter what subject, a mention of Junior the Unitary fits within the framework of the conversation like Presidential-Seal booties with a Truman Capote coat. So I really don't see where dropping the name of the resident Chimpanzee is any great burden.
It's all in the context, I suppose.

It's right out of that period of enforced glorification of Stalin in all things. Statues and billboards everywhere. No one dared be the first to stop clapping when he entered the room so the applause might go on for half an hour! Etc.
