USA Today/Gallup Poll on impeachment of BUSH.
USA Today/Gallup Poll. July 6-8, 2007. N=1,014 adults nationwide. MoE ± 3.

"As you may know, impeachment is the first step in the constitutional process for removing a president from office, in which possible crimes are investigated and charges are made. Do you think there is or is not justification for Congress to begin impeachment proceedings against President Bush at this time?" 7/6-8/07

There Is Justification There Is Not Justification unsure
%36 %62 %3
http://www.pollingreport.com/bush.htm

Until the percentage in the "There Is Justification" column is less than 50% it's a dead horse.
Pelosi knows this.

4. Pelosi is waiting to lead.
She sticks her finger out to see which way the wind is blowing before she does so. Isn't that what a Leader is spozed to do?

5. I wonder how much that number would change if...
...Pelosi put impeachment on the table? I mean, I would suspect a lot of the people saying there's no justification are saying that because their leader is saying there is no justification.

Is this just saying that 36% of the people polled think for themselves, perhaps?

6. Pelosi should not work from polls
she should be doing what the Constitution demands. Impeach their asses and fuck the polls and politics. This reminds me of the many politicians in the Nixon era from both parties who knew what their duty was and performed it. Unlike today....

8. It's a McPaper poll - they're infamous for their methodology (or lack of)
When every other poll says otherwise, I'll pay little attention to this.

10. Approx. 1/3 of Americans were against the Iraq War in February 2003. - They were 100% right.
I am a proud member of that most intelligent group.

Now, 1/3 (or more) of Americans want impeachement... and we are correct again.

Unless they wise up fast, those who are against impeachment will wrongly drag the rest of us through 1.5 more years of Bushler's failed policies.

12. Doesn't matter what anyone says
there is credible evidence that criminal violations of the US Constitution have occurred. According to the two guys on Bill Moyers the other night, congress is obliged to begin impeachment proceedings when that happens.

Besides, most amurkins do not hear that the actions of the boy king and his minions make a mockery of the constitution because they don't hear it on TV. That doesn't mean it isn't happening. As the word begins to spread that percentage will grow quickly.

There is definitely a change in the force.

14. Of the 62%, I'm gonna guess that if they knew what was going on
to the extent that many of us do, 90% of them would answer yes. An impeachment hearing would bring all that out.
