So Dow Jones sells out to Fox News. Another one bites the dust.
Not that I trusted the Wall Street Journal to be anything but the business newspaper that it is, at least I knew what it is. Now, all bets are off.

Tina Brown in on MSNBC saying that Murdoch did "wonderful things" when he bought the London Times, for instance "he got rid of the unions, which were strangling the paper."

Ooooh, how WONDERFUL Tina! He dumped those pesky unions and those damned employeed who wanted living wages and good conditions. BRILLIANT!

That's exactly what American needs more of, right?

1. Tina just dropped another winner quote...

On the "authority" of the big newspapers like The New York Times, she said "Face it, what would we have done without the New York Times' Iraq coverage?"

Uh...maybe NOT gone to war? Remember the NYT's stenographer role for Judith Miller, Tina?

Yeah...what on earth would we have done without the New York Times? Had to wrap our fish in Saran Wrap, maybe?

2. The WSJ actually does some of the best reporting on China
with their Asian edition; more thorough and critical than any of our dailies. Murdoch has never missed a chance to use his properties to suck-up to the Chinese government, turning tail at the slightest sign of push-back from the authorities and giving them the kind of coverage they want (hopefully) in exchange for riches down the road. I wonder who's going to win those editorial battles now...

... the idiotic editorials, the WSJ is as solid a journalism source as you will find in print or broadcast in the USA. Looks like that is about over.
