Today will tell the nation whether we now live under a Decidership or a Democratic Republic. If Congress fails to charge her with Contempt or Inherent Contempt then the USA as we knew it is no longer in existance..The day of reckoning is upon us..

5. I think Feingold
when someone here (or here-linked) ran into him in a cafe or restaurant. Can't recall the particulars, but believe this was attributed to Russ Feingold.

2. What is special about today?
I mean given that the focus is on Reid putting congress into a special session - it seems like the focus is going to be over there.

Is there a deadline or something?

Bryant

6. Yes there is a deadline
She was allowed five days to reconsider and to present herself. Today is the deadline on that grace period. Conyers hinted at Contempt charrges being filed if she failed to show. We will see..

7. I thought they had five days from the day of her non-appearance to decide
if they were going to charge her with contempt. Today is Day 5, unless you're counting business days and then it's only Day 3.

3. True true...
Anyone out there with a finger on the news' pulse who's heard anything about this status? Or down the memory-hole already? As momentous as that committee hearing seemed at the time, I've heard precious little about it since....

11. It is another crime he has gotten away with..
Desecration of the Flag. Dumbya signing his name on the flag is as bad
as taking a crap and using the Flag for TP.
