What groups benefit from affirmative action? |
|
Now the simple answer is everyone benefits, but my question is members of certain groups receive benefits from affirmative action in school admittance, etc.
Which groups? I can think of African-Americans, Hispanics, American Indians and I'm not sure who else. Pacific Islanders?
Do bi-racial people receive benefits or do their parents have to be of one of the groups that get it?

1. The greatest beneficiaries have been white women |

although AA has managed to open up opportunities for all of us who aren't white males.
Remember, AA will get somebody's foot through the door. Only intelligence, talent and hard work will keep them there.

3. There is no racial purity test. |

If you want some of those marvelous AA benefits just have you or your kids claim that you or they are african-american-hispanic-native-american women. The woman part might be difficult, but the rest is a check-off.
