Dick Durbin's personal "all-nighter" call sheet
Tell these Republican Senators to Stop Filibustering the Levin/Reed Amendment!

We’ve launched an all-night debate on the floor of the Senate to force obstructionist Republicans to explain why they are preventing an up-or-down vote on the Levin/Reed amendment to end the war in Iraq -- but we need your help too.

Please call one or more of these wavering Republican Senators. Urge them to vote for the Levin/Reed amendment and stop the Republican filibuster on the war in Iraq! Then, submit the form below to let us know that you've made some calls.

Thank you for letting Republican Senators know that the American people are behind tonight's "all-nighter" and the Levin/Reed Amendment.

UPDATE (11:15pm ET): Some people have reported that these Senators' voicemail boxes are full. If you are a constituent of any of these Senators, please visit their official Senate sites to send them an email -- and please keep trying to place your calls tonight and tomorrow morning as voicemail boxes are cleared out. Thanks for your overwhelming response!

1. Next live quorum call: 5 a.m. wed. 7/18
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/07/18/AR2007071800312.html

--snip--
Turns out Reid had no intention of enforcing that motion, what with the assortment of senators over 80 who could not be expected to show up through the night for live quorum calls.

Speaking of those mandatory attendance tallies, Reid changed his mind about how many, and when. He had originally planned holding one around 3 a.m. and another at 7 a.m. But that changed during the midnight vote when Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., made the case against senatorial sleep deprivation and impugned Reid to push the quorum call back.

--snip--

Next live quorum call, he announced: 5 a.m. The Senate would vote later in the morning on whether to advance legislation to withdraw troops from Iraq, he added.
