Michael Savage is Hilarious |

As wacked out as he is, I find his show endlessly entertaining. Hannity...not so much.

Make the distinction. He's a wackjob, but it's entertaining radio. Like listening to a very intelligent crazy person.

15. It's horrible radio. You like listening to an "intelligent" guy who says, |
|
"I want to puke when I hear about a woman married to a woman raising children because, frankly, I think that it's child abuse to do that to children without their permission."
This entertains you?
As an aside, why are you bothering to stick up for a "wackjob" broadcasting over the PUBLIC airwaves on stations ostensibly serving in the public interests?
YOU make the distinction, Jack_Dawson .

Michael Savage Weiner, former boy-toy of Allan Ginsburg, former peddler of herbal remedies, now a national laughingstock. If he starts seeing a shrink, there go the laffs...

I can't stomach Hannity because he's a WH parrot with zero intellectual honesty. Savage...errr...Weiner at least has opinions that cut both ways. I don't agree w/ 90% of what he says, but it's entertaining as hell.

10. Why did he change his name? |
|
I question the integrity, sincerity and credibility of a political comentator who changes his/her name...in this case Michael Allan Weiner aka Michael Savage. Political commentators aren't actors or comedians where credibility is not an issue.

8. Used to listen years ago on KSFO |

and for a long time I thought it was a satire it was so ridiculous. When I found out he was serious it wasn't quite as funny but I still find it hard to believe that anybody could be so fuckinng stupid as to buy that bullshit.

12. Two sides of the same coin |

Hannity is just so smarmy and smug, it makes my skin crawl. His nasal voice is extremely irksome. He's so clearly a shill for everything and anything Republican, it's not even funny. But given the 25% approval ratings for his guy that he has his nose so far up, it gives me a bit of amusement the way this guy sticks to the deck of a sinking ship. I look forward to him becoming thoroughly irrelevant.
Savage either is creating a really intricate act, or the guy has serious, serious mental problems. When I hear Savage rant and scream, it's pretty much like hearing a speech by Adolph Hitler if Hitler decided to become a talk radio show host instead of a fascist dictator. Just substitute "Muslims" and "liberals" for "Jews" and "Gypsies" and it will be just like listening to the Furher. Unlike Limbaugh and especially Hannity, Savage does manage to take the administration to task from time to time, but it's always for all the wrong reasons. (I think he'd be happy simply nuking the middle east.) I honestly pity anyone who is a avid listener of his show who takes this insane man seriously. But apparently they do exist, as you can ask Brian Lamb. My money is the way he screams and yells, he could very well end up suffering a coronary on air.

17. He does more for our side than theirs. Almost to the point... |

...that it appears purposeful. I would venture that even a certain percentage of the "backwash" hear the things he spews, and ponder their own positions.
