White House runs conference call on executive privilege for right-wing bloggers
this from Raw Story

http://rawstory.com/news/2007/White_House_runs_conference_call_on_0727.html

snip of article

At the urging of top conservative bloggers, the White House set up a Friday morning conference call to promote its message on the subject of executive privilege, RAW STORY has found.

"The White House hosted a blogger conference call to discuss the issues surrounding the Bush administration's use of executive privilege in the probe of the firings of eight federal prosecutors," wrote Ed Morrissey, who produces the blog Captains Quarters. "The White House arranged the call based on a recommendation by this blog, in order to familiarize the blogosphere with the legal and political arguments on which the administration will rely to prevail in the upcoming fight regarding the contempt citations Congress seems likely to approve."

2. Coaching the lemmings. That's hilarious
white house to ensure massive disinformation campaign conducted by people who think they are patriotic while white house works 24/7 to cover up massive crime syndicate. It must be really satisfying to have people like ed morrissey on your side.

6. They're making sure they coordinate their talking points
They need to expand their Talking Points fax/email list beyond the normal suspects - Fox, CNN, PBS, ABC, NBC, RW talk radio and a bunch of newspapers.

Now, that list includes the various RW blogs.

7. Oh Christ here come the yammering talking points
These moronic asshats don't have the intelligence to not plagiarize, it's in their blood I think, so we will now be subjected to hundreds of reposts of the "meeting" word for word while the idiot in charge of each blog will pretend to be the one that thought it up.

8. This is really funny!
First it was faxes to the media and meetings with bigshitsshots; now it's more of the same, only with wormy-brained bloggers.
It's easy to consign their reactions to panic, but it sure looks like a pretty well laid out campaign. They know this is going to be fought out in public and will depend a lot on who can influence congress and by how much.

At very least, it will largely consume their remaining time in the executive and, with the additional public attention, may even keep us out of another republicker war.
