Any reliable news source covering the Turkey/Kurdish events on the ground in N. Iraq? |
|
An international source might have more timely and accurate information.
Things are definitely dicey with 140,000-200,000 Turkish soldiers massed at the border.

1. The Turks simply seem to be hoping really, really hard that Bush listens to them. |

Since I find that prospect unlikely - the US Army, fighting the PKK? I don't think so - they'll eventually have to make a decision. But it would seem the decision has not been made yet. That's informed speculation based on the latest word out of Ankara.
It's kind of hard for the press to predict things when the movers and shakers haven't made final decisions and are playing chicken with each other.
