6. It Took Almost A Week...

Last week, Canon was a silenced, blubbering fool in both the Judiciary committee hearings and then on the TV food fights. He didn't have the right talking points...he couldn't go off message, so he said little to nothing. He knew Gonzo had lied and couldn't defend it...but then it appears the talking points arrived.

They wouldn't roll out Cheney without having the mighty Wurlitzer playing loudly behind him...and we're starting to see it happen. I just saw Magic Arlen attempt to do a vanishing act regarding his calls for a special prosecutor or Gonzo's resignation...and other right wing shills attempting to play the "there's nothing here, move along" game...led by Crashcart himself.

I see this as Gonzo's last chance...if the Dickster can't save him, he's gone before Congress returns in September. Look at the timing here folks...there's a vote on the House floor to push for Gonzo's impeachment to roll and this regime needs to negate that headline with one of its own. Right out of the Rove playbook.
