The only dissent allowed over there is when one of their own is MORE conservative than they are on EVERY SINGLE POINT except the one they are currently in so much trouble over. There's absolutely no republikan standing up for Paul anymore. That's all the dissent you get. In my area the hate radio stations run commercials advertising their hosts calling Ron Paul a "nutjob". That's what they think will get them listerers.
Granted, we already knew he was nuts, but these are conservatives doing this.

They don't actually stand for any principles other than their own personal power and "getting ahead". They can do that in a monolithic group much better than as warring tribes.
