They keep insisting that because 100 Americans weren't killed this month, that the surge is working.

10. I think that the lower death rate

is not proof of the surge working, but on us relying much more on dropping bombs, and using the Air Force more. Of course, I'm just an old retired woman, with no college, and no money, but that's what I think. Bombs are also destructive, and many, many of the dead and maimed will be women and children, but that doesn't seem to bother our Repuke "pro-life" politicians.
