16 Democratic Senators still reside in the "9/11 World" Fantasy |
|
You know, the one where they will be punished for not being "tough on Terror" as defined by Shrub. They still think it is September 2002. They still think Iraq is just something abstract. That Bushco really wants to protect us. That Bushco is competent to do so. They think the majority of Voters will vote against them if they don't follow Shrub's every beck and call on the "War on Terra"
November 2006 sent a message that "9/11 world" was over. That we, the people, want the lies , death, and Fascism to end. And this is just as true in the "Red States" as it is in the "Blue States". But they don't understand that. Maybe because they don't want to understand, maybe because they like the fantasy. But clearly it will take more elections to get the message through to these people. If we ever are allowed to have free elections again.
"9/11 World" is a fantasy that needs to die. The Sooner the better.
i look up at the sky and see the distant lights there and pray we all will make it through this life
there's trouble in our hearts so much crying in the dark and nobody's religion sets it right
tell me when you think you've had enough tell me and we'll all just swear right now to make it stop
you'll have a beautiful tomorrow a beautiful tomorrow yea a beautiful tomorrow if you just can stop the things
you'll do today

2. They are time servers and ticket punchers preserving their jobs. |

However, like their counterparts in the real work force, they are adept at making excuses and blaming others for their faults, and taking credit for what others do.

5. They think that is the case |
|
They think that we, the people, want to give Bushco this power. In that they are dead wrong. Unfortunately, short of primary challenges that kick them out (not just turn them into "independants" like LIEberman) I don't see this changing. The Repubicks won't give us an alternative to vote for in the general election. Therefore they can vote this way and face NO consequences because there is no alternative on this critical area. So the whole thing is frustrating in the extreme.
