I am no longer able to trust.
Without our rights and constitution in play and without adequate reporting in America, I'll never be comfortable. With judges and justices politicized and operating without constitutional boundaries and established precedents, it is impossible for a person who isn't gullible to feel ok. Trust is gone. A new life with only bits of familiarity easily erased through realization.

1. This is what we should be asking our Repub
acquaintances about. Is this what they wanted it all to come to? To destroy democracy in the U.S.?

3. They want to be "safe!"
I hate to break it to them, but we are on our own.

4. You bet we are. I really think that those who can become
more reliant on themselves than anything or anyone else will survive. I know this sounds very dismal however, this is what I see our circumstances coming to. I have zero trust in any politcal party. If we were to be so lucky as to elect someone like Al Gore I think he would be "Wellstoned". imho

5. For the party of "personal responsibility", they sure as hell seem to want a lot of "protection."

6. 'oh ye of little faith'
and much knowledge.

"I snarl, I hiss. How can ignorance be compared to bliss?"

Keep the faith, bro.

I don't have faith that you like Bon Jovi. How about Jesse?

Don't give up on the mission. Go down swinging.

See, I am such an optimist I believe I can type magic words to snap you out of your funk. Or at least that Jesse can say them. We got through Reagan's second term, and a term by Bush. We have taken seven steps backward after a few steps forward, but it's not over.
