Even in a catastrophe, republics are assholes
BIG chemical fire in Kansas City today. Very scary. Here are pictures.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x152064

My school is close to the fire site and we had to evacuate. Pretty scary. Lots of scared little kids.

After several tense hours, I finally left the evacuation site to go home and I turn on my car radio to a local AM station to get news about the fire. And first thing I hear the DJ say is "Thank God we have George Bush"

I actually pulled my car over I was so mad. The guy went on to say that since we have George Bush to protect us, we all feel safe now and proof of that is the fact that not one person has uttered the words "terrorist attack" today. See, according to his polluted mind, without this president, all of us in Kansas City would have assumed the terrorists were attacking us today when this chemical plant exploded.

:puke: :puke:

3. And chemical plants burning is OK?
Edited on Wed Feb-07-07 11:33 PM by uppityperson
It's not terrorism so it's all ok thank you mr.bush? Yup, we all feel so safe. Ask any Bostonian.

Edited to add, my first thought upon hearing "Thank god we have George Bush" by people in a town with a burning chemical plant probably should not be posted.

8. If they didn't spend their time saying crap like that
then we would have long ago risen up and thrown the bum out of the White House. The only thing keeping him in office is the media. The ONLY thing.

9. Thank God that George Bush appoints his Exxon buddies to head up the EPA
so that plant will be back up and running in no time. And, too bad about your airwaves and stuff.
