Which rethug senators are we most likely to unseat next year?
Edited on Tue Aug-07-07 09:03 PM by speedoo
I would think Allard's seat (CO) and Coleman (MN) are prime targets. Who do we have to run in Colorado? Evidently that tool Allard is retiring.

Do we have any shot at Barrosso in Wyoming? He was appointed to replace Craig Thomas.

I would hope Stevens (AK) will be very vulnerable now that he is being investigated.

Is there another Jim Webb in Virginia to take Warner's seat (retiring)?

I would be ecstatic if we could pick off any of Chambliss, Sessions, Graham, Cornyn, Inhofe but those are deep red states.

Seems to me that Dole, Roberts, McConnell, Sununu, Collins and Domenici are vulnerable.

What about Alexander (TN), Enzi (WY) and Smith (OR)?

Are any Dems vulnerable?

I want at least 5-6 more Senate seats so we can tell Lieberthug to get lost.

15. Yes he is. The local repugs do not like his votes on Immigration.
The Democrats know what an a$$hat he is.

4. I've heard Mark Warner's name mentioned for VA Senate candidate.
Not sure where that stands right now, though.

I hope that's still a possibility.

7. If Mark Warner runs in Va he would probably win. In MN I think Coleman is
in real trouble. I also think Udall is the front runner to take Colorado from the GOP.

14. Coleman is in deep trouble up there.
He stands a fair chance of being ousted if things keep up like this.

8. Udall from Eldorado Springs is running for the Dem seat (CO)
I'd rather find someone a *bit* more progressive than Udall. His voting record as of late sucks.

9. Stevens still has his supporters up here
but he is greatly weakened. A lot depends on who on our side decides to jump in. No one has announced as yet although there are rumors.

12. here's my analysis:
Seats we will pick up (in order of likeliness we get it, and who will win it):
1. Minnesota (Al Franken or the other guy)
2. Virginia (But only if Mark Warner runs)
3. Colorado (Rep. Mark Udall)
4. New Hampshire (Former Governor Jeanne Shaheen)
5. New Mexico (Joe Wilson? Rep. Tom Udall? Mayor Marty Chavez?)

Seats we could possibly pick up:
1. Oregon
2. Maine (Rep. Tom Allen)
3. Kentucky
4. Wyoming
5. Tennessee
6. South Carolina
7. Kansas

13. That will work.
With the Presidency, and two solid majorites in Congress, we can start the repair work.

we have state forums here. now might be a good time for those state forums to start coordinating to oust these assholes.

i'm in california, in barbara lee's district. i'm pretty much sitting pretty, waiting for a challenger against feinstein to come, many years from now. but i'm willing to give advice and send good vibes for other areas of the country.
