Howard Dean wants to know what I think...
got a survey from Howard Dean has several questions about my concerns, priorities ect...

I am gonna fill it out and then send a letter of my own inside of it

and I am going to put a stamp on it (it is pre-paid, but if I want to save valuable money I should use my own stamp)

I am NOT sending any money

and am going to end my letter with You will get your money when these conditions are met:

1. Bring the troops home NOW
2. Get lieberman under control
3. Impeach bush/cheney
4. Get Al Gore to run in 2008

1. GOOD for you! The DCCC emailed me yesterday and I emailed them back and lambasted them
for the FISA Bill and told them they will not see one red cent from me until they get rid of this regime and UNDO that horrendous FISA Bill. Any Dem politician who emails me for money is going to get the same response. They aren't getting shit from me until they start doing what they were elected to do!:grr:

6. Never. I like Howard. He's on OUR side.
:hi:

However, the Democrats aren't getting ANYTHING from me until they start doing their job. Nothing against Howard, personally.;)

12. Then if we don't donate...he's out. Big money doesn't like his tactic
of the 50 state plan.

So that's it. If enough people don't want to support it, then we get Harold Ford....he's already been chosen by two of Hillary's campaign folks. Remember?

14. Well, I'm sorry, mad. I cannot, with good conscience, donate to a party
that is IGNORING the wishes of the people who elected them. I REFUSE. They can start doing what they were elected to do and THEN I will be more than happy to donate. How else do you get through to those people? MONEY and POWER are the ONLY things that matters to them. They don't care what we want or think...just like they don't like Howard's tactic or care what HE thinks or wants.

16. Then don't.
If enough feel like you do....then it will go back to the same old 18 winnable states and to hell with the rest of the country.

Your choice.

19. Okay. Thanks. I won't until they start doing their jobs. It's not MY fault they ignore me.
If NO MONEY makes them listen, then maybe they will do what they were elected to do.

22. I know, but he DOES give them feedback They NEED TO HEAR that what they're NOT doing
is hurting the money situation in the party. Money talks. It's all they care about....and power.

24. That's kind of sad you think Dean is that way as well.
That you will punish the one who is trying for change because of what Congress did.

3. Yep, Dean can snap his fingers and do all that.....that's silly.
You are advocating not donating. If you don't want to do, then don't.

But you should not come here and push it on others.

Harold Ford is next in line, remember?

8. You don't have to donate. You can express your feelings.
It is rather showboating to come here and brag how you are attacking the DNC and Dean for what Congress did.

21. That is not what he does. Congress does those things, or doesn't.
Progressives hate to pay money to fund real change, don't they?

All hat and no cattle.

All talk and no money when it is needed.

23. Really? That's why the Dem candidates have raised so much more money than the repukes?
We maxed out on donations in 2004, so what you said is untrue. Not to mention all the time and effort spent trying to get Dems elected.:(

Progressives are very generous when it's EARNED.

25. You don't get it. The candidates are getting obscene amounts...
The DSCC and the DCCC are next in line because they can be influential to corporations....then tails the DNC because taking the piggy bank out of DC is NOT what big business wants. They want the power consolidated, not spread out to the states.

But do what your conscience lets you do.

18. Howard has NO CONTROL over the 4 things you're demanding.
He's the Chairman of the Party! He's not a Senator, Congressman, therefore he has NO VOTE to make those things happen.

Howard has done more to advance the Dem. Party than any leader of the DNC has done in a very long time!

If you want those things done, you'd do much better sending your letters to the people who are now in office!
