Rep. David Obey on Alberto Gonzales:“He’s one sneaky, lying S.O.B., to put it bluntly. He’s the most authoritarian attorney general in the history of the republic. He’s the most dangerous. I never thought I’d long for the days of John Ashcroft.” (Via CongressDaily, sub. req’d)

3. That seems to be the consensus. Now what is the new congress
going to do about it? I don't want to hear how wrong it is anymore. We see it in action via Georgia Thompson's imprisonment.

7. Considering the power Bush insisted be invested in the AG to spy, AGAG must now go!1
One more good reason to get Gonzo outta thjere is the new responsibility of the AG to determine who gets spied on w/o a warrant.

8. So you're filing articles of impeachment, Mr. Obey?
I'm with you on your opinion concerning Mr. Gonzales. Unfortunately, I'm not a member of Congress, so I can't file articles of impeachment. But YOU ARE. Get with it, pally, or don't waste my time telling me what I already know.

11. How weird.
When I first read that, I thought Obey was talking about Karl Rove.
