10. Hayes had to know he was in for a butt kicking when Jon did that segment immediately before his
interview. It was called "Even Dick Don't Know Dick" and featured the video of Cheney back in 1994 saying that it was the right decision not to remove Saddam during the Gulf War because it wasn't worth the loss of American lives and that there would be a power vacuum resulting in a "quagmire".

Sometimes the very best part of that show is the audience. When Hayes tried to challenge Jon's assertion that those opposed to the war were called unpatriotic, there was a pause and then a collective, almost ominous grumble from the viewers in the studio. Hayes knew he was trapped like an egg-sucking dog. It was an electric moment. And that's when Stewart brought up John Gibson...

15. Hayes should be on his knees to whatever god he prays to
And thank that deity that the audience at The Daily Show didn't turn him into chutney for that remark. I don't know what planet Hayes has been on for the last five years, but questioning everything about their critics, from intelligence to patriotism, has been the Bush administration's stock in trade to the near exclusion of everything else.

What a tool. I foresee a lifetime of hawking dollar books at Drudge and Free Republic for Mr. Hayes. "Donate $25 to Free Republic, get a Stephen F. Hayes book. Donate $10 and get two."

Hayes for being the sniveling war mongering Cheney lap dog that he is. The Weekly Standard, the Neocon House Organ is Cheney's tool. It was Hayes that kept the drumbeats for war up, including the lies about Atta and Iraq, and it was Hayes that planted the false notion in people's minds that the WMD were moved to Syria. Even last night, Jon should have grabbed him by the balls when Hayes said that Saddam was working with terrorists.

Besides from that
Yeah Jon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But I think Stewart was trying to save face from the terrible Safire interview earlier this week.

I don't think Stewart enjoys his job as much as he used to.
