sure glad I have no ponies in this race... Am I wrong, or will there be a time when the central banks/PPT can no longer bail out the market?
I guess there are ironic advantages to being poor: when the market tanks, we have nothing to lose.
Actually, having some money would have been nice, but we would have had to spend it all on Hubby's care (dialysis=$24K! per month). I want universal single-payer health care, and I want it now. Three years ago would have been even better.

7. I agree with you with single payer |

but your horse in this is a job... as menial or badly paid as it may be
One of the consequences of the D word was a drying up of jobs as people holed up and spent on bare essentials

9. unfortunately, I am an unpaid caregiver |

for Hubby. We live on his SSDI.
My jobs are cash: music lessons, piano tuning, decorative crafts and paintings. I know those will dry up. That is why I have been working on getting a garden going and being able to make stuff myself (have spinning wheel, will knit). Now if I could just convince Hubby to let me have pygmy Angora goat...

8. Well, I went for the Euro/Pac fund. Heavily. |
|
I'm hoping that they will ride out US funds in the long run.
But what do I know?

levels... if this gets into the 20% or above losses, we are talking Deep Correcttion, anything above that...
And THAT is what I am afraid off
I have said it over a couple of years, the economic conditions at the macro level are eeriely similar to 1929
