2. It reminds me of the Ocean Springs-Biloxi bridge that was destroyed in Katrina:

Except this bridge went down due to the wrath of mother nature, not man-made negligence.

5. I had such good memories of that place

I drove for miles and couldnt believe it, I actually beat Bush there (unless you count his "i can see my house from up here" flyby. That will always get me, that i had enough time to digest make arrangemens with work (went with blessing) and get the aok from wife and kids (who were worried that the FEDS werent there yet)
