Secret White House Manual: How to Stop Anti-Bush T-Shirts
Edited on Sun Aug-19-07 04:01 PM by Andre II
"disclosure of an allegedly "sensitive" Presidential Advance Manual, which laid out the White House's meticulous efforts to protect the president and his public image from dissent.

"As a last resort, security should remove the demonstrators from the event," the manual instructs. The government turned over a heavily redacted version of the manual to the ACLU in the course of the lawsuit.

The first step to keeping demonstrators out of events, the manual tells the president's event staff, is to encourage the Secret Service to "ask the local police department to designate a protest area...preferably not in view of the event site or the motorcade route."
Inside the event space, the manual advises, White House advance personnel should preposition "rally squads" that can swarm any protesters at the event and "use their signs and banners as shields between the demonstrators and the main press platform."
The rally squads can be formed using "college/young republican organizations, local athletic teams, and fraternities/sororities," the manual notes. The squads can "lead supportive chants to drown out the protesters (USA!, USA!, USA!)," it suggests.

None needed. Just another step toward pure totalitarianism, all in the service of a vicious, loathsome little man so completely undeserving of respect that he has become arguably the single most detested human in history.

I'm sure if Attila or Hitler or Stalin or Pol Pot (or Columbus and Cortez, for that matter) had been around today and had their insufferable faces plastered across billions of TV sets and computer screens in every corner of the planet, they would have been in the running as well.

But lucky us, Bush and the communications age have teamed up to produce our own little international embarrassment, our own planetary scourge, our own contribution to the long line of fascists and rampaging mass murderers and self-congratulatory madmen whose dreams are drenched in blood and whose souls are so shriveled and defective that they have spawned the creation of an entire new set of geographic reference points just to encompass the magnitude of their vile deeds. Places like Auschwitz and Dachau and Lubyanka and Guantanamo and Abu Ghraib.

And in the history of world-class butchers, as in so many other undesirable things, WE'RE NUMBER ONE -- WE'RE NUMBER ONE -- WE'RE NUMBER ONE!

Damn, it's lonely at the top.

5. Excellent. We need to be keeping track of all the strategizing they do,
or perhaps in some cases, all the strategizing we think they do. Especially since our worst suspicions tend to be confirmed with these people.

NOTHING, repeat, NOTHING they do is EVER completely on the up-n-up.

7. I hate to say this, but I'd be lying otherwise.
"'Rally squads' that can swarm any protesters at the event," were a major tactic in the Nazi rise to power. They beat the shit out of/shot anyone who was opposing their candidate. They even showed up to attack gatherings of other parties.

That's Nazi behavior, authorized right in that manual. If you see a "rally squad" at any protests/gatherings, attack them the instant they make a hostile move. Kill them if necessary, because they'll have no qualms about seriously injuring or killing you.

Don't attack security personnel unless they're using force against you, though.

(As for the "I hate to say this" line, I think constantly crying "Fascism!" is not politically sound (the Bushies have been primarily corporatists until this), but I'm willing to make exceptions for the obvious truth.)
